This day we started with looking the tone off the room again.After that we try to tune into the group. After a while we get this buzzing sound. The group becomes the sound off the buzz itself, is this a sworm of insects in the room are are we getting in tune with each other?!
After that we experiment a bit with fasionering; A sound is in the air, a member of the group sets a simple “musical”phrase, we try to cath wath the other one is doing. On a sign, we copy exactely what the solist sings. Making shure we copy as good as possible the breath, the ritme, the intonations,…
When the group is in tune with this new phrase for a while, a other solist starts a new idea.This goes on until all the insects had there word spread.It’s was interesting to see the changements in movement and tones.Every loop we sang was never exactely the same, what made this a veryinteresting day!
Go deeper in a simple exersise and what comes out is… amazing!
